Gatineau is building new bike paths around town this year. One includes continuing the incomplete McConnell bike path, between Rivermead and Allen Roads, to be completed by fall, 2015.
Sylvie Périard, of Gatineau’s School of Laughter Yoga, paid the retirement residence a visit, April 26, in hopes of sharing a laugh with the residents. She led a “laughter yoga” workshop which all dwellers were welcome to join.

Aylmer’s Fresh Market announced in mid-April that it’s planting its roots in Aylmer’s Memorial Park this summer.
Several Aylmer parks will be improved over the coming months. For 2015, the city earmarked $2.1 million to improve its parks and green spaces across the city; of the two-million dollar envelope, Aylmer parks will use $901,000.
