International Food Fair at United Church

The Aylmer United Church held their annual International Food Fair on Saturday, March 28th. The festive meal offered choices of Chinese, Burmese, Italian and Lebanese delicacies and was followed by a music concert by the Ottawa-based group Tuxedo Junction. The money raised from ticket sales will go toward repairs to the church's roof and heating system. Event coordinator Stephanie Wakelin led the gathering with the help of devoted church members and the volunteering efforts of Girl Guides and Grande Rivière's International Program Students, who lent a hand in serving the food. This is the eighth year that the food fair has taken place at the church.
