“Domestic violence is a priority; when women are in danger, they can’t stay isolated,” Annick Brazeau, Outaouais’ spokesperson for women’s shelters and Director General of the Maison d’Hébergement des Deux Vallées told the Bulletin. “We’re open 24/7,” she added. “If they need to talk about domestic violence, we can do it very, very well by phone. If they want to get housed, we have plenty of measures and we’re still doing them.”
