What is a local newspaper?

 

I would like to thank the Bulletin for their efforts in the last few days in the coverage of the flooding taking place in our region. Anyone connected to social media has seen how our weekly newspaper has served us through their updates on the flooding, who needs assistance and where resources could be channeled. I am happy to feel real newsprint once a week with a focus on Aylmer but I am gratified to see a community newspaper perform such a needed service on instant platforms like Facebook. The Bulletin is an integral part of our community. If it weren't for the Bulletin, many of us high and dry would not know there were others in immediate need and where to assist. This is a stay strong time for our community and an important link in this is our community newspaper and their digital presence.
