What a party!
Spooks and divas kicked up their heals for Aylmer
What a party! This comment was heard throughout the evening at the DoubleTree Hotel, October 31. The mood was just right and as the revelers filed in. It was clear that much effort had been put into the creation of every Halloween costume, which went from scary to outrageously funny.
This event was organized by the Bulletin d’Aylmer and the West Quebec Post, in collaboration with Galeries Aylmer, DoubleTree Hotel, Rythme FM, Capitale Rock,V-Télé, L’Imprimerie du Progrès and Promopub Design & Marketing. The goal was to have a costumed ball to generate profits to help out the local food bank: Le Centre alimentaire Aylmer and ultimately to provide food for 700 Aylmer families in need.
The Buzz Live Band, an eleven-piece Aylmer band, delivered a powerhouse performance, treating the guests with the best disco hits of the 70s and 80s. The dance floor was packed. Folks were impressed with this world-class act who, not only had the music down to perfection, but boogied the presentation, the stage clothes, the amazing sound quality and powerful LED lighting; it all contributed to keeping the people dancing.
