West Quebec school board seeks new director-general
The Western Quebec School Board (WQSB) is beginning the process to replace its Director-General; current DG Paul Lamoureux is taking on a new position as DG of the Sir Wilfrid Laurier School Board (SWLSB), effective August 22, 2016. The SWLSB covers the Laurentides, Lanaudière and Laval.
Mr Lamoreux joined the WQSB 20 years ago, working his way to the top. He was appointed DG in the summer of 2012 to replace former DG Michael Dawson.
The WQSB announced that the Council of Commissioners will undertake the search for a replacement for Mr. Lamoureux in the coming months.
