Voting reform

I am not hearing much about reform to our voting system so far this election. I suppose the last candidate to promise it, and then toss it in the trash, killed the idea, at least for a while.  What really kills this idea is that the corporate media, and the people for whom they are the mouthpiece, hate the idea.  Every time it is proposed, it goes to the public, who are then barraged by media and social devices to fear it – and it is rejected.
