To the CCU and residents/businesses of rue Principale

 

The 22 rue Principale proposal’s decision needs to be rescinded immediately. It is possible for the CCU to immediately revisit its decision and allow the project to proceed as originally presented. As presented, the project represents design excellence.

Anyone who loves Aylmer knows that diversification on rue Principale is necessary to ensure the economic survival of businesses there. It can only become a vibrant sector with 10, 20 or 30 more projects like that proposed by the Cleroux family. Should a survey be done along rue Principale, I doubt there would be any true opposition to this 4 million addition to our community.

Smarten up, CCU, and do the right thing, rescind your decision immediately! I congratulate all concerned with this excellent proposal.
