The STO has a golden opportunity…

 

The site where the old Canadian Tire was situated presents a great opportunity for the STO. It should turn it into a bus station for Aylmer.

Imagine: buses coming into the station at one end and driving out the other where the CT garage was,  commuters waiting in a warm area with stores or having a coffee from Tim Horton’s across the street while they wait for the bus. “The 8 am bus for Ottawa on platform 2…”  

Instead, the STO sticks to Rivermead; a bus station in the middle of nowhere, where commuters wait in the cold, damp weather with no store in sight or walking distance.

 

Once again, the STO has an opportunity in Aylmer. Great chance to make amends for the poor service and bad decisions it has taken towards Aylmer.
