The forest in our city 

I wish the Bulletin team a very good and prosperous new year! You started off with a creative front cover!  I do not like the news about the Boucher Forest’s future, so please press our councillors to make saving this a do-or-die issue, for Aylmer anyway. Maybe other councillors think downtown Gatineau is a model for a modern city, but wiser people see the importance of the forest in our city and our city in its forest.  Isn’t there a climate emergency?

Also, my family recently watched the new movie, The Post (Washington Post) with Tom Hanks and Meryl Streep. A great movie! It shows in real issues why a professional media is essential – after watching this, we cannot be pleased to rely on American internet for our news.  Last year we saw a movie on Edward Snowden on the same theme.  I highly recommend both, and we are sure the Bulletin would agree!!
