The Aylmer Bulletin Trade Fair: Aylmer services for families and seniors
Sophie Demers
In-person events are back! The Aylmer Bulletin is excited to present the Family Well-Being Trade Fair to get residents reconnected with the Aylmer community after two long years of the pandemic. This will be the Bulletin’s first in-person event of 2022 and is organised by the same people who put together the Best of Aylmer.
The Family Well-Being Trade Fair is a two-day weekend event and is the first Aylmer Bulletin event in 2022. A Special Print Section is being prepared for the week of the event to help folks familiarise themselves with all things Aylmer. Old and new businesses alike will have the opportunity to engage with new clients and reconnect with familiar faces. “We are so excited to be doing these in-person events at Aydelu Centre that go with Special Print Sections,” explained publisher Lily Ryan. “The idea is to bring folks together after the long haul of Covid. There are so many new residents in Aylmer who don't know about the Bulletin and all the amazing businesses/services in Aylmer. We aim to bring them into the Aylmer family in a concrete way.”
The weekend-long event will take place at the Aydelu Centre on Saturday May 28 and Sunday May 29. There will be entertainment, surprises and over 30 local businesses for all Aylmer residents to enjoy.
The 2022 events will be animated by Red Zone Audiovisuel and there will be a performance by Vj’s Groove Machine. With so many new residents having moved to Aylmer in the past few years, this is a great opportunity to get to know the community and what Aylmer has to offer. Residents of all ages are welcome. The Bulletin is eager to see everyone gather and enjoy the event that will surely be a weekend to remember.
