Terry Fox Run: Aylmer runs, walks, bikes for cancer research

 

The Terry Fox Run is an annual non-competitive charity event held in numerous regions around the world in commemoration of Canadian cancer activist Terry Fox, and his Marathon of Hope, and to raise money for cancer research. Aylmer’s was held September 17.

The Aylmer course is a loop that follows the bicycle path along the scenic Ottawa River to the Deschênes Rapids and back.

Each kilometer of the 10 km course is marked and there are water stations and restrooms along the route.
