LETTER
Supporting Trudeau in SNC Lavalin Affair?
Mr Finseth’s letter sounds very rosy, except for one missing fact: is this the first time for SNC Lavalin to be involved in such scandals? Haven’t they been caught and charged for corruption many times? Laval and Montreal politicians have been caught taking kick-backs over building contracts, the Port of Montreal and the subway contracts were questioned, many involved have gone to jail, others fined, and yet SNC Lavalin continues to play these dirty games. Isn’t it time that this company felt the heat and made some major policy changes? If Bombardier builds a new plane and cuts corners to save money, and that aircraft ends up in a crash, killing many, wouldn’t Bombardier be investigated, fined, and have planes grounded? Bombardier/Airbus could be shut down, and no matter how many people are employed. If Trudeau is covering this mess up, it will cost him dearly this coming Fall.
