Sunday matinees at Moore’ Farm (Hull)
June 18, Sunday matinees at Moore Farm (Hull). This is an invitation by the Club des ornithologues de l’Outaouais (COO) and the Centre for Ecology and Urban Agriculture of Gatineau. On the third Sunday of every summer month, rendez-vous at 9 am in the parking lot near the Bistro of Moore Farm (670 blvd Alexandre-Taché) for a short hike (two hours) on an easy loop into the farm’s nearby habitats, in the company of Martin, your host-expert.
We’ll meet a rich variety of species, such as Green Heron, Red-shouldered Hawk, House Wren, Red-eyed Vireo, Great Crested Flycatcher, Pine Warbler, Swamp Sparrow, Indigo Bunting and Baltimore Oriole. On the way back, you’ll be able to enjoy an unforgettable brunch at the Bistro and visit the enchanting site of this farm in the very heart of our city. info@lafermemoore.ca.
