Successful barbeque!

 

St. Mark’s Conference of the Society of Saint Vincent de Paul (SSVP) held a very successful fundraising barbeque on August 12 at Giant Tiger.

Janick Desormeaux, Assistant Manager at the store, did an excellent job organizing the event, Daniel Lacourcière set up his own sound system and was joined by guitar player/singer Rick Crépin. Our customers kept us busy for over three hours and the giant tiger himself even made a visit.

The money raised will be put to good use in helping the less fortunate in our community.  Thank you all!
