STO replies on park-and-ride closures

 

In response to Ed Angers’ letter, recently published in the Bulletin d’Aylmer, the Société de transport de l’Outaouais (STO) wishes to dismiss rumors regarding its Park-and-Rides in Aylmer. While the Hippodrome Park-and-Ride will eventually close, since the STO is currently renting a lot that will be converted to residential development, there are no plans to close any other transit infrastructure. Consequently, any transit users wishing to park their vehicle before using transit will be able to do so at the Allumettières, Galeries d’Aylmer or Rivermead Park-and-Ride in the future.

Please note that, unlike the Hippodrome Park-and-Ride, the STO owns the lots at the Allumettières and Rivermead Park and Rides.
