Squirrels

 

Some people love them, others hate them. I am of the ones who like squirrels. I watch and enjoy their fascinating behavior. Of course, they do visit birdfeeders and this annoys people. Who would not enjoy a free meal? Maybe they assume that the feeder was put there for their use.  They also dig up bulbs. I have found tulips in my garden I never planted.

For peace of mind, I got a metal squirrel-proof feeder with a squirrel guard. Some adventurous squirrels still try to scale it, but give up soon. It seems too much trouble for a few sunflower seeds.

Let us enjoy all wildlife while we still have it.
