Spring clean-up along the mighty Ottawa
Deschênes was one of nine Gatineau sites to be part of the Grand Ménage. The Ottawa Riverkeeper organized a Deschênes shoreline cleanup along the Ottawa River. Brigitte Boudreau, the Ottawa Riverkeeper engagement coordinator managed volunteers to clean up the area at the end of Vanier Road from rue Houle to the end of rue Lamoureux. Lunch and gifts were supplied by Gatineau.
