 SPCA of Western Quebec

 

SPCA of Western Quebec is no longer rescuing dogs and cats. The operators have shut down the rescue shelter without a board meeting, without consultation with the community, interested constituents or stakeholders.
    The shelter had been providing safe haven to hundreds of death-row animals every year. A petition "https://peepad.org/petition/" has been hastily made available and an urgent call for accountability has begun by folks who share a concern for the welfare of animals.
    I am a dedicated volunteer and rescue transporter and this cause is very dear to my heart.
