So proud to live in the 14th Century
I wish to thank the Bulletin d'Aylmer for recognizing and participating in "Pride Week" -- for your public event last weekend (which was tremendous!) and the newspaper's continued support of Pride and gay rights in general. This is one example showing why it is so important that we have our own local newspaper!
I also thank the city of Gatineau for its support and participation in Pride Week -- makes me proud to be a citizen of our fine city.
Finally, we should all note the participation of the CAQ government. So many events and services -- and open to everyone. As long as they/we speak French. To my English-speaking compadres, I apologize for my fellow Quebecois. You have all the rights of the Free World, as long as you speak French. That must make our French-only neighbours so proud. Will they go to the ballot boxes on October 3 to support CAQ fascism, or will they join the 21st century?
