Aylmer takes a bite out of hunger
Last year almost $9,000 was raised in Aylmer from the Tim Hortons Smile Cookie campaign. It was donated to the Aylmer Food Bank and, this year, the Tim Hortons team aims to spread more smiles. “Local supports local,” Tim Hortons co-owner Denis Lavallée told the Bulletin.
“Everyone who works at the four Tim Hortons locations makes a difference on the ground. The Aylmer Food Bank needs all the help it can get – we want to be part of the solution to hunger here, in our community. We are donated all proceeds from the Smile Cookie sales, from all four locations to the food bank.’’ The event is on from September 12 to 18.
