---- Slaughtering animals is killing us
The world is changing its eating habits. Many people are giving up meat and turning to delicious substitute products available in our grocery stores.
More and more people realize that the cruel slaughtering of animals for our food should be stopped. It can't be good nutrition for humans when animals die in horror, hating their murderers; these feelings penetrate into their flesh, then pass to our systems.
Just like us, animals can see, feel, love, and give birth; they are intelligent, grateful and caring. We are committing a crime, slaughtering them for food. It's time for us to accept animals as our silent brothers, helpers, supporters. Not only must we cherish our dogs and cats, but accept all animals as God's creation, not our food.
Humanity went through stages when, perhaps, meat helped us to survive, but in current times there is an abundance of fruits, vegetables, nuts, seeds and countless plant-based products for us to thrive on and be healthier. I became vegetarian when I turned 60 years old; later I became vegan.
During my working years, I suffered constantly from colds, chronic sinuses, sore throats, and fibromyalgia. I am now 81 and I don't have these problems anymore. Please join the ranks of vegans and help to save our planet, our common home.
