Simons opens amid launch of new Les Promenades Gatineau Shopping Centre

Amid great fanfare, crowds of shoppers lined up to be the first in West Quebec’s newest retail shopping store; Simons. Peter Simons of Simons, Michel Bruillard of the centre’s parent company, Oxford Properties, as well as local dignitaries joined the opening celebration August 13. Located in Gatineau, this mall has been a staple for regional shopping but was treated to a breath of new life with a $110 million renovation.

Simons, H&M and Forever 21, are part of the 20,000 square-feet of fashion offered at the mall. In line with contemporary shopping centres, Les Promenades Gatineau concentrated its efforts on the shopping experience; including an eating area with 13 restaurants.
