  “Sidewalks on Aylmer Road”

 

Sidewalk from Double Tree Hotel to the Parc-O -Bus Rivermead, and my only complaint to the city is that it wasn’t done earlier.  For the past 18 years since I moved to Aylmer I walked many times from the bridge to Rivermead feeling unsafe. Before the pandemic, I remember seeing a 12 years old boy walking from Parc-O-Bus Rivermead to  Allen Street, and realizing at the time how unsafe this is for a child. Not to mention also seeing every day at 7 am and 4 pm a lady running on the street, facing the traffic.
    For sure Aylmer needed this sidewalk. Having it now, people will feel safe to walk to and from the Parc-O-Bus Rivermead.  I hope that the city will continue to improve the safety of pedestrians.
