Seasonal bird count

 

December 18 is the day for The Ottawa-Gatineau Christmas Bird count by the Club des ornithologues de l'Outaouais (COO) and the Ontario Field Naturalist Club (OFNC).  COO’s members and volunteers take a count of the birds within Gatineau’s three districts and in a part of Chelsea. We need the public to explore a portion of the territory and/or tallying the birds at their feeders. The activity ends with a collective dinner (around 5 pm ) and compilation of the results at André Touchet Centre, 55 chemin Vanier, Deschênes, Aylmer.
