Search for Miller ends in arrest
Just before 3 am on Tuesday, May 16, Gatineau Police (SPVG) arrested Richard Thomas, 35, who was wanted by police in connection with several offences of a sexual nature committed against a girl under the age of 16.
On March 9 of this year, the SPVG published a press release asking for help from the public in locating Miller. It is thanks to information from various sources that police were able to track him down. He was transported to the police station for interrogation. Miller is to appear before a Gatineau judge May 16, at which point he will receive the conditions of his release, if the judge deems he may be released. “His plead may happen at the same court appearance, or later. Each case is different,”
Gatineau spokesperson Andrée East told the Bulletin. Anyone who may have been victimized by Miller is asked to contact local police or call 819 243-INFO (4636), option 5. The police file number is: 2017-1742.
