LETTER
School supplies for low-income families
In cooperation with its partner agencies, Centraide Outaouais announces the launch of its 22nd Back-to-School Program, through which low-income families can receive school supplies at a 75% discount at 17 thrift stores that will be open in July and August.
To participate, families must register. While the children receive a handout at school explaining the program, the information doesn’t always reach their parents! Please share this announcement, therefore, so that as many children as possible from vulnerable families can benefit from this really good deal, and enjoy going back to class with a backpack stuffed with new school supplies. The deadline for registration is June 23, 2017 ( call 819-771-7751 or 1-800-325-7751 toll-free).
Since it was established in 1995, 44,823 children and 24,873 families have been helped by the Back-to-School Program (also called the Sharing Store).
