Say your piece: Letters to the Editor
Letters to the editor in the Bulletin d'Aylmer are read by approximately 50,000 people (match that social media!) who live within your community and share your concerns. Some guidelines to make sure your letter is published:
All letters must be signed with a phone number (not published).
Any language is acceptable ... but be clear, civil, and not rude.
Keep it short and concise: ALL letters are edited for grammar, punctuation, spelling, etc, and for length. Expect your letter to be edited.
We receive many letters, so space is a premium: do not repeat yourself or add unnecessary comments.
Letters are personal opinions; they are not news articles, nor comments, by this newspaper. We do accept replies to earlier letters. Do not use pdfs -- docs or docx, please.
We do not accept letters praising or critical of local businesses. No personal attacks, nor promotional pieces for political candidates or parties accepted.
