Resurfacing of Vanier Road between Aylmer Road and Boulevard Lucerne

Rehabilitation work on Vanier Road, which will be carried out in sections, began on Tuesday, July 9. 

Vanier Road will be completely closed between Boulevard de Lucerne and the south entrance to Crescent Drive during this work.

Special signage will be installed to ensure the flow of traffic in the area, since only local and pedestrian traffic will be permitted.

As soon as work is completed on this section, the site will be moved between the south entrance of Crescent Drive and Aylmer Road.

The work involves: 

- Replacement of the drinking water distribution network (aqueduct);

- Replacement of the storm sewer system;

- Complete reconstruction of the pavement foundations and asphalt paving.

The city suggests the following bypasses in both directions, Rivermead Road and Victor-Beaudry Street.

The work should be completed within about four months
