Response to letter re: parking at the Aylmer Marina

 

To Lynn, in response to your letter posted August 3, 2016. I, too, often go to the marina to enjoy watching people launch their boats and I have seen many people park in the location you describe. On occasion, I am able to let them know of the restriction and they are usually very grateful. I had been there just after reading your letter and would recommend you verify the time the infraction occurred, as I believe the restriction outlined on the signs posted is from 7 - 19 hrs only. If the time suggested in your letter is correct, the ticket was issued outside of these posted hours and might be worth double-checking.

By the way, I do get the issue you describe of a warning vs a ticket, the language posted on the signs. I understand your frustration and points being made.
