Residents Association corn roast

Le Plateau residents celebrate!

Residents of Le Plateau neighbourhood gathered at the sector’s Central Park September 15 to celebrate summer’s end with their association’s annual corn roast. Volunteeers prepared fresh corn and hot dogs for the crowd and provided inflatables and face-painting for the kids.

Various candidates in the current provincial election visited the event as part of their last two weeks of campaigning before the October 1 election. 

The celebration coincided with the sector’s Public Market for the week; the market, in its first year, will continue until October.
