LETTER
Reply on Peoples Party
I wish to reply to Ms Schroeder’s questions about the Peoples Party (last week’s edition), although I am not connected to that party. First, I was sorry to see the Bulletin actually printed that letter; it was so one-sided. Is this going to happen more as we get closer to the election?
Conservatives have no interest in harming people’s living standards, but merely throwing money at various schemes seems ill advised at the most. Especially when those schemes just end up with more bureaucracy and more civil servants: how much do bureaucrats feel toward helping the poorest? They are out for a secure job with benefits and with as little to do as possible, and that’s the basis for Conservative views about restraining public spending.
Max Bernier wants a new way of doing politics – no different than Jody Wilson-Raybould and Jane Philpott. Will the old school politicians ever get the hint?
I wish we could discuss these questions without trying even harder to make each other look like morons.
