Renos stalled at Paul-et-Isabelle Duchesnay arena
For several weeks, the renovations launched last summer at the Paul-et-Isabelle Duchesnay arena have been stalled.
Following a request for information in early February, a city official told the Bulletin the project “would resume in the coming days”. The official could provide no further details because, she said, this is all the information she had received, and the project is now the responsibility of Intact Insurance.
The renovations, estimated at over $265,000, are to improve the building’s accessibility by adding a building to the front of the arena. The company, which began the renovations in August, did not return the Bulletin’s call.
