Regional Association message to membership  

The present situation with the COVID-19 Virus has necessitated very swift and dramatic changes in our lives. The Regional Association of West Quebecers (RAWQ) takes very seriously the health and safety of all our members, FSL students and staff, and is taking every precaution to that end. 

Accordingly, beginning Monday, March 16, 2020 all events and activities organized by the Association are postponed until further notice. These include the following:

A) Monday Conversation classes at l’Initial Seniors residence;

B) All FSL Courses in Aylmer and Wakefield;

C) Quiz Night on March 20, 2020;

D) March 24, 2020- Your 2019 Tax Information Session that was to be held at the Shawville-Clarendon Library

E) Office hours of the Regional Association of West Quebecers in the Aylmer and Shawville offices.

We are certain that you share our common concerns for the health and welfare of the community and understand the reasons that we and many other organizations, businesses and public institutions have taken these and other precautions at the present time. We also reiterate the advice of public officials to please take all the precautions necessary to keep you and your loved ones out of harm’s way.
