Reflecting back on previous wins

 

During the previous edition of the Best of Aylmer Readers’ Choice Awards, the best daycare award went to Garderie Ponpon Daycare on Front Street. For Kenny Ayoub, daycare operator, the win definitely had and continues to have a positive impact on the business.

“It means that we’ve gained recognition for all the  effort we’ve put into our work. Particularly for my staff who work tirelessly every day to ensure the best care possible for the children in their charge here at the daycare. They are the ones providing the physical services, so to hear that they’ve not only done their job well but been rewarded for it by the community is amazing. To obtain recognition and praise from the families and the community, means that the team’s work is recognized beyond our four walls,” Kenny told the Bulletin.

Receiving the Best of Aylmer prize also proved for Kenny that their work at the daycare is having a positive impact in the community. “This is wonderful and it’s incredibly rewarding for my staff to hear that. This has had a positive effect within the daycare. For the staff to know that their work is seen, recognized, and appreciated is wonderful,” said Kenny.

Kenny also heard positive comments from the public about their award during registration time this past summer. “There was quite a bit of talk about the daycare winning number one prize. It’s all very flattering,” she said.
