LETTER
“referendum guide.ca”
Thank you for your editorial on the election reform campaign in BC – because, yes, it is coming here, or is supposed to, unless our CAQ premier pulls a “Justin” and forgets his promise. You might inform your readers that there is an excellent site on this subject in the form of a survey in which you answer a series of questions on how you would like your vote to count and be counted and what form of parliamentary government you support (false majorities vs compromise and coalitions, for example). The survey made my own views clear to me because it aggregated my views into the existing choices or options we have in this reform.
The site is “referendum guide.ca”. Pretty simple, and not linked to any party or to any of the options.
Without this sort of preparation, we become targets for all the troll-generated attacks and counter arguments. Wisdom is our best defence! Please suggest this site to Bulletin readers!
