 Rebuilding Gatineau's streets

 

In response to Gary Lemieux's letter,  I agree everyone and their vehicles suffer from the condition of our roads. There is hope for all Aylmerites though.  Rue Bourgeau was excavated and rebuilt last year, and the second layer of asphalt will be laid this summer. It wasn't needed and even the paving crew admitted they should've been working on rue Parker ... or Broad ... or (insert your street name here)!
    Of course, as bad as our side streets are, rebuilding Lucerne and Vanier to handle all the extra commuter traffic should be Gatineau's priority.
