LETTER
Reading the letters ...
On July 31, I read a good Letter to the Editor, page 5, “Election issue: the pipeline”. It is well informed; his opinion, based on the initial thought. Thinking is a process; it joins available information, past, present -- and forward. (This is my Multiple Sculpture concept, 1969 on.)
A recent TV program covered the interest of some Indigenous groups to take over the Trans Mountain pipeline, aiming at 51% ownership, pending loans and underwriters. I say caution! But join this news with the letter here and you do not need to be chess master Kasparov to foresee tomorrow’s headlines.
Although I am just a sculptor, I know of biology that anything deprived of oxygen will perish. And from physics, we know the action/reaction chain which brings changes in temperature and algae and then ... thousands of dead fish. Problem? Just look for a solution, my advice, it is there.
If we wish only to assume reality, we reach for the obvious; but to comprehend it, we have to search for the obscure. This is my own research-gift: the multiplicities needed in thought.
What a great little newspaper, the Bulletin d’Aylmer! And it is all for free, much better then the ‘buck a beer’. Thank you!
