Re: “Andrew Scheer Becoming Prime Minister”
The piece by Brian Rock on Andrew Scheer was very dismaying. In a time when Canada faces so many challenges such as dealing with creating an innovative economy in face of climate change, when people are hard-pressed to make ends meet, trouble feeding their families, when infra-structure such as roads and high-speed train travel need serious consideration, when drug prices threaten to sky rocket out of control, when health care needs more workers to stop the excessive wait times, Mr. Scheer says he wants, as prime Minister, to be an accountant. He wants to cut the deficit.
What Canada needs is a vision, a passionate leader for the people, taking their interests at heart. What we do not need is more Mr. Scheer.
