Racism is not OK
To follow-up on the Bulletin’s graffiti article: It’s taken care of.
The city still does not have a policy on quick removal of “hateful” graffiti or vandalism. I had to pull this out of the pack and walk it to the territorial director. Unlike the case of a swastika on the sidewalk a few years ago, Aylmer’s newer director acted quickly to make sure Public Works dealt with it. They had an August deadline for this one ...
Such things will not be tolerated in this city, let alone in Aylmer, or even more so in Deschênes. And not on my watch.
