Quebec survey on English health care
Community Health and Social Services Network (CHSSN) is conducting a Quebec-wide survey on the perceptions and experience of accessing health and social services in English across the province.
The survey will focus on satisfaction levels across a broad range of services to inform the CHSSN and other organizations that are interested in better serving English speakers.
In the words of Jennifer Johnson, executive director of the CHSSN, the survey “will serve as a different kind of ‘blood test’ for the English-speaking community. It will provide some clear messages about which services they want better access to in English and what they see as priorities for the future.”
The survey will be conducted by telephone in 10 different administrative regions from March 20 to April 20 and should take no longer than 20 minutes to complete. Focus groups will also be held in areas where finding enough people to answer is particularly difficult.
The CHSSN hopes that people will take to time to complete the survey as they hope to have an accurate portrait of people’s needs across the province.
CHSSN is a group of over 60 community resources, associations, foundations, public institutions and other stakeholders dedicated to creating partnerships that enhance health and social services for English-speaking communities across Quebec.
