Police investigating sexual assault in Aylmer

Family members of a female victim informed the media of a sexual assault in Aylmer after she filed a report of the incident to the police. Police told the Bulletin they are investigating a report of sexual assault that would have occurred Sunday, July 30, near the Parc-o-des Allumettières. The victim claims three males were involved.

Police say they have no additional information for the public, but add that, if they felt a public warning was needed, they would have done so immediately. “There is no (further) information to share with the public at this time,” stated the Gatineau police communications department.
