Police deliver news of deceased found inside Front Street apartment

On April 9, Gatineau Police (SPVG) found a dead body inside an apartment complex at 61 rue Front in Aylmer. SPVG spokesperson Renée Anne Saint-Amant told the Aylmer Bulletin that officers responded to a call for intervention at an undetermined time, before arriving at the residence. Upon arrival police declared the person deceased.

Saint-Amant did not reveal the nature of the call for intervention. She added that investigators from the Service d’identité judiciaire conducted a judicial crime-scene analysis before leaving the scene on April 12.
