Planting the future: Lakeview Terrace Association celebrates

The Lakeview Terrace Residents’ Association celebrated its 70th anniversary by distributing free trees to the residents of the neighbourhood. Jocelyn Plourde, the president of the association, organized the event with Josée Soucie, and 24 native trees were chosen for their biodiversity. The event was supported by André Fortin, Pontiac MNA, councillor for the area, Richard Begin and NavCan. The Lakeview Terrace Residents’ Association is the strongest and the most involved non-political, volunteer-based organization in Gatineau’s Aylmer sector, an association member told the Bulletin.
