Pitbulls: city to promote existing laws

 

The Outaouais SPCA is delighted that City Council voted against banishing pitbulls and in favour of investing (in advertising) the regulations already in place. By injecting the necessary monetary resources for the proper application of the law regulating potentially dangerous dogs, the City demonstrates that it is attentive to its citizens and experts.

With this great news, the Outaouais SPCAO encourages citizens to learn about the regulations in place with regard to dogs, especially pitbulls or dogs labelled as potentially dangerous.

Citizens have a role to play, letting us know if they see neglect, cruelty or people not respecting the regulations in place.
