Pillar of le Plateau passes

 

Serge Bertrand, President of the Association des résidents du Plateau (ARP) died on June 23 at age 67. Known as the “Pillar of the ARP”, he presided over the association since 2011.

Very active within the community, the association said of him, “He lead the reorganization of the website, the transition to digital newsletter, 20th anniversary festivities and the granting of the ARP with the status of “Grand partenaire de la Ville de Gatineau”. All major tasks and accomplishments for any residents’ associtaion.

During his years as president of the association, the ARP was awarded the Community Organization of the year prize at the Galas Méritas 2015.
