Pig in the streets of Aylmer

Pictures of a hog caught wandering the streets of suburban Aylmer caught the eye of social media last week, stirring plenty of interest and confusion about what got the pig out there in the first place. The pig’s owner, Pascal Hamel, quickly confirmed with the Aylmer Bulletin that it was his and had only been wandering off his property for about five minutes while he was building a fence in his yard. “It’s my pig, she didn’t run away,” Hamel said in a Facebook message. “She was looking around.”

Hamel said the pig is a female named “Agatte” who is very smart and clean.
