Pharmacy replaces bank at Front near des Allumetières

A new business is coming to 345 Front Street, in Lucerne riding. Gatineau councillors approved the request for conditional usages for the location, last March, clearing the way for the construction of a Pharmaprix where a TD Bank had been, briefly. The 980-square-meter pharmacy will be near the Tim Hortons and École des Tournessols, just north of des Allumetières.

The renovations to increase the building size was needed as the bank was 750-square-meters. According to the developer, Alre Properties Inc, the larger size is justified because of the location’s proximity to high client volume at that intersection. 82 parking units are planned. Works are underway.
