Paving the road out of Hell
“ The road to Hell is paved by many a good intention “, and I attest to that, lived it, experienced it, until I got out of the Hell. I discovered the Eastern philosophy of Yin and Yang, stopped fighting and begun working, and paved the road out of Hell with acknowledgement of lessons learned.
Just like our neighbour, President Trump. He is not approaching conflicts as a contest to win, but rather as a diverse puzzle, looking for a solution by respecting those who we call enemies. There are no enemies, but rather different views. Reality is diversity.
One has to admire Trump’s tenacity. He is the personification I modelled in my M/M sculpture, “Thought and Understanding”, with it’s facets of positive-negative, expanded and extended, linear and outlined, in-forms and out-forms --- and much more. He is doing it well.
This brings me to advise our PM: do not fight it, try to understand and apologize, eat your humble pie, we all want to live in a better society -- there are no enemies. All starts on an even level, and only we awake the status of “enemy”, where we all lose.
