Our new hospital?
Kudos to Ron Temchuk for his great letter in the last week's bulletin and also to all the other people who have written wonderful letters trying to get our municipal Council to understand the need to have the hospital built in Aylmer over the last few weeks.
It appears that since that since this is a political decision that is not only made by city council but also made by the government of Québec, as it is the Ministry of Health that is supposedly funding the new hospital, I would like to propose to all those people who are concerned that the construction will take place in Hull that you send a letter by snail mail (as emails can readily be deleted) to the Minister of health. I am certain that a few thousand letters arriving at his office will attract someone's attention in Quebec City.
Many municipalities from Shawville to Wakefield have a hospital. It only makes sense for Aylmer to have one too.
